My love for Spring’s cherry blossoms are always so bittersweet. I often feel that I never have enough chances to take pictures of them. Right when cherry blossoms are at its peak bloom, I find myself busier than ever. To add onto that, Sakura-Con usually comes shortly after. Nevertheless, I make it a point to myself to at least get something done with them. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get any portraiture photography done with them, but I can at least get some toy photography done with it.

I hadn’t found an opportunity to use this figure and was glad that time was finally here. There aren’t many props, I feel, that would work well with the kimono dress. What better way to capture the beauty of kimonos than to compliment it with something else that is related to its culture?
