This was a completely informal “reception” held by Atashi and her husband. It was pretty fun while also proving to be quite… interesting. Also, there was way too much damn food.
There was also a guy that I met who was interested in my camera (his handle is Kanvy). So I let him mess around with my camera for a bit and here are the pictures he took.
As satisfied as I am with these pictures, there had been an underlying fear I had in regards to the lens I had been working with that day. After taking a closer look at the pictures, I’ve confirmed the lens really DO need an AF fine tune adjustment. Took about an hour before I finally figured out a method and took enough pictures to find the right adjustment point. Hopefully I’ll be able to find another opportunity to test these lens before the next con I go to. In any case, I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Here’s a gif, by the way.
